How to add a Discount on the fly instead of using the Discount Catalog

In some cases, you might want to offer a discount that is not part of the Discount Catalog.

In other cases, you might not even have a catalog set up yet.

Not to worry! You can always create and add a custom discount before presenting a proposal.

You can add as many Custom Discounts as you want, as long as they are within the specified Discount Limit (read more).

These Discounts are one-time use items, and will not be available on other proposals.

They are calculated based on the Sale Price before the commission or any additional markups that only is visible to the admin users inside the Inspector (read more).

How does it work?

  1. On Summary page >> Discounts section >> click '+Add'

  2. You will see Catalog tab and Create Custom tab

  3. In the Custom tab name you Discount

  4. Specify Discount amount

  5. Save

  6. You will see the Discount in the Discounts section with the name and Amount

  7. To add another Discount click '+Add' again

  8. To Edit the custom discount, simply click on its highlighted name

  9. To Remove - click on the 'cross' icon next to the discount name
