Activate Equipment

First, let’s ensure that the equipment you need is available in your account.

For live equipment, go to the office, click on Equipment, then select Live Equipment and choose the appropriate connector.

For equipment type:

  • Outdoor ductless units are listed under Ductless Outdoor.

  • Indoor ductless units are listed under Ductless Indoor.

Next, select the brand for both the outdoor and indoor units, activate the specific series and model numbers you need, and click Save.

For custom equipment, you will first need to add the equipment to your account (Click here to learn how to add custom equipment).

Create Bundles

Next, you'll want to create the bundles that will be pre-populated when building future proposals. Think of these as your most commonly sold combinations.

In the Office, click on Equipment, go to Bundle Manager, and select the system type. Then, scroll down to the Single Zone Ductless system type:

Next, choose whether the equipment is Live or Custom:

Scroll down to Capacity sections, and start building your bundles by selecting the outdoor unit and the corresponding indoor unit you want to pair with it.

Remember, you can have up to 6 bundles per capacity. However, don't worry—you'll always be able to edit these bundles while building a proposal to create the specific matchup needed for the job.

Make sure you’ve created at least one bundle for each capacity you plan to use in proposals, as a bundle is required to access that capacity.

Set Up Your Base Pricing

Before building the consultation, let’s ensure your pricing is set up.

Go to the Office and navigate to the Pricing Engine.

Open the Equipment Bundle Pricing Profiles tab and select Base Pricing Strategy.

Ensure that the labor, material, and margins are set to your desired values for the Single Zone Ductless System type. If you make any changes, be sure to click Save.

Build a Consultation

When building the consultation, navigate to the Proposals tab. Select the Single Zone Ductless system type and the desired capacity.

Next choose whether the equipment is live or equipment:

The bundles you created in the Office will appear. If you need to modify a bundle (e.g., change the condenser or indoor unit), click the pencil icon to edit it. Once the bundle is ready, drag it to the desired proposal option:

Finally, choose any necessary accessories and installation items, then present the proposal on the Summary tab!
