Sometimes, your internet browser gets "stuck" on an old version of OnCall Air. This can make buttons stop working or make the page look messy.
โ
The fastest fix is a Hard Refresh. Itโs like giving the app a quick "reset" without deleting any of your work.
๐ป If you are using a Computer (Desktop)
โ
Think of this as a "Power Restart" for the webpage you are looking at.
On a Mac: Hold the Command (โ) and Option keys, then tap the R key.
On a PC: Hold the Ctrl key and tap F5.
๐ฑ If you are using an iPad or Tablet (In the field)
Tablets are more "stubborn" with their memory. If the page is blank or frozen, follow these steps in order:
โ
โ1. The "Private Window" Trick (Fastest)
This forces the tablet to look at the app with "fresh eyes" without using any saved files.
iPad: Tap the two squares icon in the corner of Safari and select Private.
Android: Tap the three dots in Chrome and select New Incognito Tab.
2. The "Deep Reset" (If Private Mode works but Normal doesn't)
If the app works in Private but is still blank in your normal window, you need to clear the "stuck" files from your device settings:
On iPad: 1. Open the iPad Settings app.
2. Tap Safari > Advanced (at the very bottom) > Website Data.
3. Search for OnCall Air, swipe left on the name, and tap Delete.
โOn Android: 1. Open Chrome and tap the Lock icon in the address bar.
2. Tap Cookies and site data > Manage on-device site data.
3. Tap the Trash icon next to OnCall Air.
๐ก When should I do this?
If you see a blank white screen after logging in.
If a button doesn't respond when you click it.
If the screen looks "frozen."
If our team says we just deployed an update but you don't see it yet.
