How to carefully suggest more value to the customer

You can recommend additional items, services, or warranties from your Accessories category. Additionally, you can Recommend FlexJobs. 'Recommending' means putting the items in front of the customer without impacting the proposals' total price.

In other words, you will provide your expert recommendations, but leave the shopping power in consumers' hands. If the homeowner wants they will add the recommended item to the proposal before accepting it. If not - at least you know you did all you could to provide them with all possible options.


How does it work?

Reach the Accessory Tab when building a proposal 

Click on the drop arrow to the left of the desired accessory.

Here are two options: you can either include an accessory or recommend one. Including an accessory automatically adds it to the proposal, while recommending an accessory gives the customer the choice to add it or not.

To recommend an accessory, click the plus sign on the toggle to adjust the quantity of the accessory you want to recommend. In the example below, I’ve recommended 2 UV Lights

On the summary tab, you can give your recommendations one final look to make sure everything looks correct:

Once you present the proposal, the consumer will see the maximum quantity you’ve selected and can choose any quantity up to that limit.
