Starting a Proposal from Housecall Pro

A guide to creating an OnCall Air proposal from within the Housecall Pro web app

Once your connection is configured, we recommend that you watch this video to see how the two platforms work together and get a feel for how it works.

Here are the steps to create a new proposal:

1. Log into the web app version of HouseCall Pro in a browser (this does not yet work in the native iOS or Android versions)


2. Click on "+ New" at the top right, and then select "OnCall Air proposal".


3. Search -- or Create --  the Customer in Housecall Pro for whom you'd like to create the proposal.


4. Click on "Create Proposal". The customer information will be posted into OnCall Air. You'll also receive a confirmation message that the proposal has been posted.

5. Continue the Consultation in OnCall Air.

Once you open OnCall Air, you'll notice that the customer information is already complete and you can continue in the Survey tab.

There is no need to re-type the customer information. And once you the sale is closed, the job will be linked to the same customer automatically in HouseCall Pro.

The title of the Consultation is automatically generated based on the customer name and street address.

Who is the consultant assigned to?

If the person who sends the customer for HouseCall Pro to OnCall Air is a user in both applications, then the consultation will be assigned to him/her.

However, if the person who sends the customer for HouseCall Pro to OnCall Air is NOT a user in OnCall Air, then the consultation is assigned automatically to your primary admin user.

Now you can click on that consultation in OnCall Air and you'll skip having to set up the customer information. Finish the consultation, present the quote, and close the sale!
