To offer rebates on the proposal you can use the Rebates Catalog. But you can also create a Custom Rebate, if, for any reason, it's not visible in the catalog.

You can add as many Custom Rebates as you want, just keep in mind, they are only applicable to this given job, and will not be available on other proposals.

They are calculated based on the Sale Price before the commission or any additional markups which only is visible to the admin users inside the Inspector (read more).

It's always a good idea to practice adding Rebates on Test Proposals (read more) so you are more comfortable.

How does it work?

  1. On Summary page >> Rebates section >> click '+Add'

  2. You will see Catalog tab and Create Custom tab

  3. In the Custom tab name your Rebates

  4. Specify Rebates amount

  5. Select Contribution and/or Apply Contribution (read more)

  6. Select if it's a Customer Direct Rebate (read more)

  7. Save

  8. You will see the Rebate in the Rebates section with the name and amount

  9. To add another Rebate click '+Add' again

  10. To Edit the custom rebate, simply click on its highlighted name

  11. To Remove - click on the 'cross' icon next to the rebate's name
