If you add a deposit to a proposal, the deposit amount is currently subtracted from the total price of the cost and updates the Balance Due for the homeowner.
For example, if you have a $10,000 proposal and add a $1,000 deposit then the balance due will be $9,000.
So ONLY register the deposit, if the customer has committed to handing it to you and you have it written in your Terms and Conditions.
How do I add a deposit to a proposal?
Arrive at the Summary tab in a consultation
Click Add Deposit for the desired proposal option
Add the deposit price and click Save
