How to set up a "cash discount"

When offered financing, some customers prefer to also learn about any incentives they might get when paying for the service in any alternative way.

In order to show this so-called "cash discount" on the proposal, you need to make sure to create a Financing Markdown Discount on Office.

You can only create one such Discount per system, so choose wisely!

A cash discount is especially powerful since it is always Interactive and allows your customer to have a much more positive experience when it comes to the money-talk.

How does it work?

  1. From Office >> Rebates & Discounts >> create a new Discount

  2. Fill out a name (up to 600 characters long)

  3. Select the value Type: Remove Financing Markup

  4. You cannot unselect Interactive setting - it is necessary for providing the customer with the choice

  5. Select if you want the Discount to be Automatic or not

  6. Save
