Can I cover the cost of my Rebates?

Dealer contribution rebates can be utilized to cover a percentage of any rebates for which your company is responsible.

How it works

Consider a scenario where there is a $1,000 rebate.

In this scenario, my company is responsible for covering 50% of the rebate cost, with the manufacturer or utility company covering the remaining 50%.

I can incorporate my percentage of the rebate into the total sale price using a dealer contribution rebate.

To implement this when creating a rebate, include the percentage of the rebate you're responsible for, and then click "Apply Contribution."

In this example, my contribution of the rebate (50% of $1,000 = $500) will be added back to the proposal to cover the cost my company has to pay.

Admin users can review the inspector to review the breakdown of how the dealer contribution impacts the price of the proposal. In our example, you can see that a $1,000 rebate was deducted, and then $500 (my contribution) was added back to cover my cost:
