Develop your Strategy

No matter what category or type of FlexJob you are working on, the first step you need to take is to define how you will not use it, aka develop a strategy.

Since FlexJobs has powerful customization before and after adding it to a proposal, you can choose to make it fully Locked in(A) or more of a Placeholder(B).

There are two main strategies you can apply:

โ€‹Strategy A. Admin will build detailed FlexJobs in the office for the most common jobs beforehand.

๐ŸŸข Advantage:

  • Admins fully control the service price and quality of the job description.

  • Allows personalizing the job just enough for each customer.

๐Ÿ”บ Disadvantage:

  • The upfront time investment to build out each package in the office.

  • Longer go-to-market.

Strategy B. Admin will only build a single placeholder for the most common categories of jobs. The consultants will fully alter/customize these jobs based on the individual customer's needs.

๐ŸŸข Advantage:

  • Minimal upfront effort to build packages in the office.

  • Quick go-to-market.

  • Maximum personalization opportunity on every job.

๐Ÿ”บ Disadvantage:

  • You cannot use FlexJob Price Override.

  • Your team needs to be well-trained.
