The Bundle Importer is designed to save time and reduce errors when updating a large number of bundles. Using the bundle importer can save you hours when updating your bundles. Instead of manually editing each individual bundle, now you can export all of your current bundles to one file. Then you can add, update, and edit those bundles, using a spreadsheet, to be imported back to your OnCall Air account. When adding or editing the Live Equipment exported bundles, you can add the match ups the order that you want them to appear. For example for the templates, try to add them as higher seer in the top.

In order for OnCall Air to properly read the bundle import file, it must formatted in a specific way. Improper format will cause validation errors when attempting to import the file back into OnCall Air.

Let's take a look at how to properly format each column of the file to successfully be imported into OnCall Air.

Column 1: Connector

The Connector column is used to associate bundles with the correct connected distributor which you purchase the equipment from. Be sure to use the Connector Abbreviation found below in Table 1.1 to associate each bundle with the proper connected partner:

Column 2 - System Type

The System Type column is used to represent the system type the bundle belongs to in OnCall Air. Be sure to use the System Type Code as seen below in Table 1.2 when setting up this information into the file.

Table 1.2 also shows the required component types under the Requirements column. Be sure to have both components added to avoid getting a validation error. For example, a Split AC with Air Handler requires an Outdoor Unit and an Indoor unit.

Column 3 - Capacity

The Capacity column must be associated with one of the integers listed in the Valid Capacity column below in Table 1.2.

Keep in mind that the capacity is used as a range and is where the equipment will be found. For example when looking at the valid capacities the furnace system type, it goes from 60,000BTU to 80,000BTU. So any furnace between 60,000BTU and 79,999BTU would be placed under the 60,000BTU.

Column 4 - Outdoor

The Outdoor column represents the outdoor unit model number for that particular system type (if applicable). Be sure to use the exact model number as it appears on your connected distributors E-commerce site. For example, if the model number is OCA24A003-B and I put OCA24A003, the validation will return an error because the model number is not valid.

Column 5 - Indoor

The Indoor column represents the indoor unit model number for that particular system type (if applicable). The Indoor column will also be used for Boilers and Water heaters. Be sure to use the exact model number as it appears on your connected distributors E-commerce site.

Column 6 - Furnace

The Furnace column represents furnace model number for that particular system type (if applicable). Be sure to use the exact model number as it appears on your connected distributors E-commerce site.

Column 7 and 8 - Accessories

The Accessory 1 and Accessory 2 columns are used for any accessories you want included in that bundle. For example, perhaps you want a specific thermostat or heater kit always included in that particular bundle.

First, make sure the accessories are added to your account. Then be sure to use the exact model number for that accessory as it appears in your OnCall Air account.

Saving a File and Importing

The file must be saved as a CSV in order for OnCall Air to properly read the file.
