Sometimes you might want to use an Installation Item as a measure of length, quantity, or square footage. The most common examples are Ductwork, Metal Sheet, Linesets.
To indicate the correct amount of items included in the job, you can use the Quantity controls when building a proposal.
First, create the Installation Item (Managing Installation Items Catalog>>)
Build the proposal and make your way to the Installation tab
Click the + or - sign to adjust the quantity of the Installation Item or enter it directly in the number field:
