In this article, we'll walk you through how you can make use of some of the more advanced features on popular spreadsheet platforms such as Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to make changes to your CSV spreadsheet as quickly and efficiently as possible.

CREATING AND USING SORTS AND FILTERS

Microsoft Excel

  1. Select any cell that has a value within the exported table.

  2. Select Data on the top navigation.

  3. Select Filter.

  4. Use the drop-down menu buttons on each column header to apply a sort or filter by values in that column.

Google Sheets

  1. Select any cell that has a value within the exported table.

  2. Select Data on the top navigation.

  3. Select Create a Filter.

  4. Use the drop-down menu buttons on each column header to apply a sort or filter by values in that column.

USING SEARCH TO FIND MODEL NUMBERS OR OTHER VALUES IN YOUR SPREADSHEET

Microsoft Excel

  1. Press Ctrl+F or complete steps 2-5.

  2. Select Home on the top navigation.

  3. Select Editing. (Skip this step if on Mac)

  4. Select Find & Select.

  5. Select Find.

  6. In the Find what: field, type the model number or other value that you would like to find in your spreadsheet.

  7. Click Find Next or Find All to find either the next occurrence or all occurrences of that value.

Google Sheets

  1. Select Edit on the top navigation.

  2. Select Find and replace.

  3. In the Find field, type the model number or other value that you would like to find in your spreadsheet.

  4. Click Find to find the next occurrence of that value.

USING REPLACE TO CHANGE MODEL NUMBERS OR OTHER VALUES IN BULK

Microsoft Excel

  1. Press Ctrl+H or complete steps 2-5.

  2. Select Home on the top navigation.

  3. Select Editing. (Skip this step if on Mac)

  4. Select Find & Select.

  5. Select Replace.

  6. In the Find what: field, type the old model number or value that you would like to find in your spreadsheet.

  7. In the Replace with: field, type the new model number or value that you would like to replace the existing or old model number or value with.

  8. Click Replace or Replace All to replace either the next occurrence or all occurrences of the existing or old model number or value with the new model number or value.

Google Sheets

  1. Select Edit on the top navigation.

  2. Select Find and replace.

  3. In the Find field, type the model number or other value that you would like to find in your spreadsheet.

  4. In the Replace with field, type the new model number or value that you would like to replace the existing or old model number or value with.

  5. Click Replace or Replace All to replace either the next occurrence or all occurrences of the existing or old model number or value with the new model number or value.

INSERTING ROWS TO ADD NEW LIVE BUNDLES

Microsoft Excel

  1. Right-click a row number and click Insert, or complete steps 2-5 .

  2. Select a cell.

  3. Select Home on the top navigation.

  4. Select Insert.

  5. Select Insert Sheet Rows.

Google Sheets

  1. Right-click a row number. Select Insert 1 row above to add a new blank row above the existing row that you have selected, or select Insert 1 row below to add a new blank row below the existing row that you have selected. Alternatively, complete steps 2-5.

  2. Select a cell.

  3. Select Insert on the top navigation.

  4. Select Rows.

  5. Select Insert 1 row above to add a new blank row above the existing row that you have selected, or click Insert 1 row below to add a new blank row below the existing row that you have selected.
