OnCall Air now features AHRI information for a select subset of brands for custom equipment. This addition provides users with valuable insights to construct precise matchups, enabling both consumers and users to access critical AHRI ratings for making well-informed decisions.

Which brands and system types currently support AHRI ratings for custom equipment?

Currently, the following brands support AHRI ratings for custom equipment:

  • Amana

  • American Standard (AC + Air Handler, HP + Air Handler)

  • Bosch

  • Bryant

  • Carrier

  • GREE

  • Goodman

  • ICP Brands (Heil, Tempstar, Comfortmaker)

  • Mitsubishi (Single Zone Ductless)

  • Payne

  • Rheem

  • Split AC with Furnace and Coil

  • Hybrid Heat Pump

  • Single Zone Ductless

Note: While our internal AHRI database currently includes millions of AHRI matches, it's important to acknowledge that we may not encompass every possible matchup. We are dedicated to expanding our AHRI matchup list continuously to accommodate the growing range of available matchups.

Format of custom model numbers

To ensure accurate AHRI results display, it is important that custom equipment model numbers are consistent with the format specified in our internal AHRI database.

When inputting your custom equipment, be sure to input the entire model number of the product. For instance, let's take a furnace identified by the model number 59MN7B060C17--14. If you input an alternate format, such as 59MN7B060C1714, in OnCall Air, the product may not generate any AHRI results. This discrepancy occurs because the format of the model number deviates from the one stored in our AHRI database.

In the upcoming build cycle, we will be implementing logic to disregard special characters, such as dashes, in the model number. This enhancement is designed to enhance the overall customer experience and ensure that AHRI results are displayed accurately, regardless of the format of the custom model numbers.

Where is the AHRI information displayed?

The AHRI ratings will be displayed in the following locations inside of OnCall Air:

On the Accepted & Presented Version of the Inspector:

Will I be able to use the Energy Tag (E-Tag) for my custom equipment that has AHRI ratings?

Yes!

You will have the capability to utilize the E-Tag for your custom bundles that are AHRI matched. This functionality enables you to present an estimate of both the dollar savings associated with a new HVAC system and the environmental impact of selecting that system. Learn more about the E-Tag here.
