How OnCall Air can help upload Custom Equipment information, using the Kickstart

The OnCall Air Custom Equipment Kickstart Program helps you get started by pre-loading content for HVAC equipment brands that do not benefit from the automation that our Connected Partners have.

Note: The "Custom Equipment" term refers to those products and brands that are not from our Connected Partners.

The Kickstart Program does the following:

  • Pre-load product descriptions for residential equipment

  • Pre-load product images

  • Pre-load series / family information

Once you have completed the Kickstart form you will need to input your specific model numbers and your cost.

There are two paths you can choose when uploading your model numbers and costs.

The first one is to create a spreadsheet using our validation codes and formatting, which you can then upload via the Custom Equipment Importer. A full tutorial for this feature is linked here.

The second path would be to enter in the model numbers and costs directly within OnCall Air by following the steps below:

Step 1: Go to the Office

Step 2: Click on Equipment >> Custom Equipment

Here you will find a list of the series pre-loaded for you from the Kickstart process:

Step 3: Click on the Series Number to edit the individual series

Next, you will see pre-loaded information (series number, name, image, description...etc) regarding this specific series. These fields are fully customizable if you wish to edit them:

Step 4: Enter the capacity, model number, dimensions (optional), and cost:

To add another model number and capacity, click the add new model button:

Step 5: Once all model numbers have been entered click Save Models.

Once you have added your model numbers you will then be able to create bundles and start building proposal using this equipment!
