Including Installation Items into a FlexJob allows you to tailor that job based on work items that have been previously created. This can help to save your work by re-using these Installation items and their costs, and also keep your system organized and consistent.

You can always Customize the included items when building a proposal as long as the FlexJob's price is not locked in.

Add New

To add an Installation Item to a FlexJob, click on "Add Installation" in the products section. Then you'll be presented with a listing of all Installation Item categories, and be able to surf and select the item that you'd like to add.

It will add to the list with the Name, Unit Cost, and Unit Price:

Change Quantity and Remove

Once you've added all items, you can then alter the quantity of that item. You can include an unlimited number of Installation Items when creating a FlexJob. And of course, you can reduce the quantity or delete the item completely.

When you add an Installation Item, the cost of that item is added to the FlexJob, and the FlexJob recalculates based on the Price formula for the FlexJob.

The Pricing Summary will show the total price of all Products and Install Items included in this particular FlexJob.

If you are using a Retain Price Override setting, units with price override will ignore the margin from the Pricing Category Strategy and will be added at their explicit price. However, we still use the total costs and total price of all your units regardless to calculate the margin contribution impact on the total FlexJob. (read more on Inspector)

πŸ”ˆ NOTE: When you include Items, they show up chronologically. Once presented, they will sort alphabetically from A-Z.
