Using OnCall Air's Lost Tracking feature allows your team to mark an Opportunity as Lost, select the appropriate Reason, and add a Note.

This can be useful to keep your sales organized, and can also help you re-discover lost opportunities in the future.

How does it work?

First, make sure the user that you want to use this feature has it enabled in the User Settings (see this article for more info on how to do that).

Once the setting is active, you can access the Lost feature from the main listing page in OnCall Air (aka, the Navigator)

  1. From Navigator find a Consultation that you'd like to mark as Lost

  2. Click the right-end arrow to expand the info card

  3. Click 'Mark Lost'

  4. Select a reason

  5. Add Notes

  6. Save

Lost Reasons

The Lost Reasons allow you to track your lost opportunities, and track them over time by reason.

The possible Lost Reasons are listed below:

  • Pricing

  • Competitor

  • Timing

  • Missing Products (e.g., out of stock)

  • Postponed

  • Cancelled

  • Expired

  • Repaired

  • Unresponsive

  • Other

Using Lost Reasons can give you insights into your sales performance, and also allow you to search opportunities that were deferred (e.g., Repaired or Unresponsive). For example, you can filter on consultations that were market Lost->Repaired six months ago, and revisit those customers to see if they're ready for a new system!
