What is the difference between archiving a consultation and putting it into a Lost status?
Let’s first understand how archiving works.
Whenever you have a consultation that should not show up on the navigator screen (aka “active”), you will head over to the office and archive it. It does not matter if it’s a draft, presented, accepted, or lost -- any of those can be archived.
Two important points here:
Archiving does not impact your reporting numbers. So if you archive an accepted quote your close rate will stay the same.
Archived is not a consultation status and can happen at any stage of its lifecycle.
You will not see any Archived consultations on your navigator. So if you cannot find a quote you are looking for, double-check the Office list.
In other words, you can have a Lost consultation that is also Archived.
